The ‘Flying Scotsman’ in Eastleigh, Hampshire - 1st November 2003

This sighting of the Flying Scotsman, was by pure chance. Driving through Eastleigh on a Saturday afternoon, I said to my wife, as I glimpsed a loco at full steam, through a fence, ‘It’s a bit like the Flying Scotsman’. Note quite!.... the next full view revealed that it was the real thing!... the Flying Scotsman!... What a suprise.

We raced to Eastleigh station car park. Luckliy I had my camera on me and I just got this one picture before she was out of sight. She looked marvelous!
