It’s all change!
After nearly two years of handling orders via e-mail, I’m now implementing a Secure Buy-online Ordering system. This will help you quickly and easily to order the items you require, without having to type in all the numbers and descriptions. The other major advantage is that it means you can now pay safely and securely with Credit or Debit Cards, using the popular PayPal secure payment mechanism. You don’t need an account and you just follow the steps to place your order from my site. It really couldn’t be simpler, or safer.
Placing an order - As the Shop Online is fully integrated, some of the pages do not yet have their ‘Add to Basket’ Button. Therefore, if you can not complete your order, please e-mail me. I can still process your order via e-mail.
Payment
- If you use the Secure Shop Online buttons, I can accept Credit Cards. Alternatively, you can pay by Postal Order, Bankers Draft, Cheque or Direct Transfer to Bank Account. Goods will be sent when funds have cleared.

Post & Packing Costs - All prices are shown without
packing and posatge costs. If you purchase via the Shop Online buttons, the post & packing is added automatically. The P&P costs are based on individual items. If you are purchasing muliple itema via Shop
Online, I will reduce the P&P costs. If you are ordering via e-mail, I will quote the P&P. Good swill be sent either via 1st Class post or for large packages, via 3 Day Parcel Force. This does not include
Recorded or Insured delivery. If this is required, additional payment will be required and you should contact me before purchase. All goods will be well wrapped, with lots of bubble wrap and parcel packaging. The
approximate costs for P&P are shown below, jsut as a guide....
Track and very small items - 1st class post to £1.00
Single Loco, Coach or Wagon and small items - £3.50
Multiple Locos, Coaches, or Wagons - £5.00
Train Packs - £5.00
Train Sets - £10.00
Large Orders - Please e-mail for a very reasonable discounted quote
One final point. I do not want to make money on Postage and Packing. I only want to cover costs. So, rest assured, if P&P was greatly over charged, I would refund the difference.
Delivery Times
- As soon as your funds clear, the goods will be dispatched. If items are not currently available, they will go on back-order. They will then be despatched as soon as they come in. I’m afraid I can not tell you exactly when this will be, it’s all dependent on availability from Hornby. I will notify you if stock is not available and give you the option to cancel or wait. Goods usually get despatched within in a week of funds clearing. If stock has to come in on a delivery it could take longer. Please allow 28 days delivery, this length of time is very rare. (Please also see important information relating to Christmas 2007 Deliveries)
Stock Availability - Please note the website is based on the years entire range, as published by Hornby, at the beginning of the year. As we progress through the year, new items get
released and some older ones become discontinued. Therefore, stock availability is fluid. I will inform you if an item is discontinued, and offer a refund or suggest an alternative that might be acceptable. If an
item is available but Hornby have no stock, then the item goes on back order and will be delivered as soon as they get stock in. I will not be able to give a delivery date on such items. The same is true for items
that are new releases. They go on back order and fulfilled as soon as stock comes in, again, not delivery dates can be given on such items.
Returns Policy - Here at chuFFers.com we want you to be totally happy with your purchase. We therefore offer a ‘no quibble’ 10 day return policy. As long as the goods are returned, with an explanation, (we are always looking to improve our service) in the condition they were supplied, we will refund your money (not including postage costs).
